'BING!' "That's Our Stop!" AmaTerra to Provide CR Services for Dallas Area Rap

AmaTerra Environmental, Inc. will serve as an extension to the HDR/HNTB team in providing cultural resources expertise to the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) technical staff under the recently awarded General Planning Consultant Contract VI (GPC). The GPC VI contract has been awarded for a three-year duration with two, one-year extensions. DART’s goals include assessing the potential for historic resources within DART’s current and future areas of potential effect to quickly and effectively account for resources and manage any potential impacts within the purview of the National Historic Preservation Act, National Environmental Protection Act, and the Antiquities Code of Texas in order for DART to qualify for funding from the Federal Transit Administration. AmaTerra will assist DART in their coordination with the Texas SHPO and other regulatory agencies by performing research, data collection, provide analysis of DART-owned structures, write reports and act as a liaison for other sub-consultants.
